Goodbye Special
8月7日、QAFさよなら特番が放送されました。
キャスト・スタッフにより、思い出のシーンや好きなシーン、NGやビハインドシーンなどを織り交ぜ、QAFへの想いが語られました。
(こちらのシーンが、↓にGIFアニメで再現してあります。)
こういうの見ちゃうと、一層「もう終ったんだ」って思い知らされて寂しいです。でもこの番組がやらなかったら、もっと寂しい思いすると思いますけど。

QAF特番＆チャリティショー
QAFのフィナーレを記念して、以下の放送とイベントがある模様です。
その１
QAFのフィナーレの記念に、最終話前に30分の特別番組が放送されるらしいです。S5からのハイライトシーンとキャスト・スタッフのインタビューという内容らしいです。
その２
最終話の放送日、ピッツバーグでＱＡＦさよならチャリティ・ショーがあります。ショーではHalのバンド「ZERO 1」のライブも行われます。

To Send QAF into the ethers with a bang The Band is playing a special Pittsburgh show! The show benefits Wildhorse Rescue Ranch. 私は見れないと思いますが、また地元サイトに感想が上がると思うので、それを楽しみにしてます。
ショーを見に行くファンの人は、当日は帰ってから(録画した？)QAF見るんでしょうか。Hunter役のHarris君もバンドやってるみたいですが、彼もプレイするのかな？ 撮影中、HalとHarris君は兄弟みたいに仲が良かったそうで、一緒にライブを見に行ってたりもしたそうです。（こちらを参照。）

GLAAD Gab: "I will tell you nothing, and you will like it! Who are these people that want spoilers?! Who are you?!" These words from Hal Sparks--former host of E!'s Talk Soup and current star of Queer as Folk--were, thankfully, somewhat in jest. I met up with him at the GLAAD Media Awards Saturday night, and he did dish on the new season starting May 22: "I will tell you Rosie O'Donnell makes an appearance, doing a three-episode arc with us. Cyndi Lauper, too. We deal with the custody issues that gay parents go through, and I think the last episode is some of the best TV we've ever done." As for Hal's character, Michael: "I get naked. We have one of the roughest sex scenes we've ever done, in the ninth episode of the show."

Queer as folkって？
ゲイの恋愛と生活を描き、イギリス・CHANNEL4で放送され人気を博したドラマ「Queer as Folk」(1999-2000)の北米リメイク版。(2000-2005)
2000年にペイチャンネルのSHOWTIMEにて第１シーズンが始まり、2005年8月7日に第５(最終)シーズンが終了。ゲイのキャストやスタッフが参加し、ストーリーにリアリティを出しつつ、過激なゲイセックス描写で話題を呼んだ。
「愛なんて信じない。信じるのはファック。」というブライアンが、１７歳の少年・ジャスティンとの出会いで変わっていく。彼らとブライアンの親友マイケルを中心に、ゲイやレズビアンの友人達のエピソードを交えてストーリーが進んでいく。
現在DVD・VHSは第５シリーズまで出ているが、DVDは北米版のリージョン１のものしかない。字幕はなく、DVDにもCCのみである。日本では、第１〜２シーズン、第４〜５シーズンのDVDがこちらで発売中。(第３シーズンのDVDはこちら。)
